Camille Mantelin
Camille Mantelin is a seasoned nonprofit fundraiser with significant experience in education, social services, and healthcare. Having played instrumental roles within various nonprofits both as professional staff and board member, she is adept at understanding an organization’s values, challenges, and specific needs. She is fluent in the full suite of fundraising strategies, tools, and tactics. She learnt the art and science of capital campaigns, leadership and planned giving at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
Her entrepreneurship and energy have served her within smaller institutions. At the Women’s Sports Foundation, she managed all aspects of fundraising. Currently on her second term on the Board of Girls Inc. of NYC, she provides leadership to the overall development efforts and has been raising the bar over the years by promoting board-to-board accountability and measuring board engagement outcomes.
Camille made the transition to nonprofit fundraising from finance after graduating with a M.S. in Nonprofit Fundraising Management from Columbia University. She also graduated from the French engineering graduate school CentraleSupélec, holds a M.S. degree in engineering from Wollongong University (Australia), and a M.S. degree in Finance from University Paris Dauphine.
Born and raised in France, she has an international perspective and a generous heart for all cultures and backgrounds. Besides fundraising, volunteer work and travels, Camille spends her free time with her husband and three children and loves playing sports. She is an avid tennis player, marathon runner, snowboarder and surfer, and a strong believer in the transformative power of sports.
